#1 was here for the weekend (haven't thought of a nickname for him yet). It was a good visit, but too short. I think he misses me. He gave me several big hugs. He enjoyed the food. We went to the UT vs. Baylor game - the three of us plus a friend. It was fun, but took up most of the day on Saturday. He caught a movie with another friend Sat night, church on Sunday and then it was time to take him to meet his ride. We could have used an extra day. It went by too quickly.
Sounds like he is doing ok at the academy, socially anyway. In trying to maintain some high school traditions, the academy is having homecoming is this weekend. Apparently, he has been nominated for Homecoming Prince. He is supposed to be volunteering at a camp for disabled people the whole weekend. He is going to see if they will let him come up on Sat instead of Friday. If not, he says that he will honor his commitment to the camp and miss the homecoming festivities.
The twins were a mess today. Getting into several physical fights, hitting and pushing. So, I am glad the day is over. We will start again tomorrow.

QueenBee, are kids wonderful? I'm glad the #1 son is doing so well at school. You know he does miss you and all the happenings at home.
I know I still miss the two kids here. Lil missy has been gone 2 years and the manchild 1.
I miss seeing you guys. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving
Wish you could be around for turkey day - or ham day as it is in our family.
Wish I could too, I make a mean dressing for the turkey. Have my sister make you some redeyed gravy with the ham drippings.. mmm mmm mmm.
For the US Thanksgiving up here, the lil missy has invited some friends over and she wants me to make enchiladas. Easy enough, then I can watch the Cowboys play. Her boyfriend is a big fan and this will be our first time to meet him. Should be fun.
